Plus the ability to monitor the equipment, control the heater, control/monitor the SWCG if i get one, etc sounds awesome. At one point I resorted to sweet talking it but that didnt seem to go anywhere. Theres definitely hot and cold spots on it it took me a little to figure out exactly where to touch it to register inputs and I still typically have to touch it multiple times. This thread is interesting because I am big into home automation, I run Home Assistant and was going to eventually look into getting my pool integrated with HA so I can control the schedules from HA isntead of the old school intermatic analog timer that is currently used. The only issues so far are: 1) the Hayward control panel kind of sucks. Also if its posssible to monitor the water that would be awesome but most of the gizmos I have seen that test the pool seem to have really mixed reviews, Checked all wiring and circuit breakers and everything looks good. Noticed today that the controller panel is dark with no display visible and the buttons do nothing. Both are about 3-4 years old and have run with no issues.

Hello All, I have a Jandy pro series variable pump and the Jandy JPE controller. I also am adding solar panels to the house (to help with the cost of running my swim spa) so if a heat pump can be an alternative to the propane heater, that might be worth looking in to. Have a fully automated Hayward control panel thats 9 years old w/ spare relays.Looking to plumb to circulate the 25000 ga salt water pool to qty 10 x 4x 12 ft Solar panels on ground racks 20-25 ft away. My new pool has a heater but its propane and propane is extremely expensive now. The pump runs great but the buttons on the control panel have stopped working.

I ask because I am also in Northern NJ and am curious if a heat pump works in our area. Will be calling the people who installed this on Monday but wondering if there's an easy fix first.Do you have a heat pump? It says you have nat gas heated in your sig but someone commented earlier in the thread that implied you have a heat pump. I don't know if that might be the problem? Anyone have advice on what to check or what might be the cause? The only change in the last few days is that it's been raining like crazy. Also, I noticed in the panel with the circuit breakers there's a "cir pump relay". I checked continuity on these 4 thinner wires which is valid so I know it's not a break in the wires between the controller and the pump. These are much thinner wires than the ones powering the pump (above) so assuming the pump itself steps down the voltage to a much lower voltage and am assuming it's still AC power into the control panel. The wires are red, black, yellow, green which run from the pump to the control panel. Ive attached a few pictures so you can see. It seems like they should just slide out, but I dont want to tug to hard and create another problem for myself. The motherboard inside the control panel needs to be replaced, however, there are a few wires Im struggling to remove. Forest management should take into account these forest gradients in. I have a Hayward SwimPure Plus control panel for my salt cell system. I was also thinking about checking to see if the voltage is live to the control panel itself but I'm not sure which wires to touch. regional gradient and that moisture conditions are likely to control these gradients. I tested continuity to the two non ground wires and there doesn't seem to be a break. Which leads should I touch my voltmeter to if I check the power leading into the pump? There's 3 wires, 1 is ground and the other two. I haven't checked the voltage into the pump yet but figuring if that has power to the pump then this controller is likely bad.
